Pegasus 2009 - Award for Energiewerkstatt GmbH

The Energiewerkstatt Munderfing is thrilled about receiving an important prize from the OÖ Nachrichten (Newspaper from Upper Austria) for outstanding corporate success.

On 16 June 2009, the Energiewerkstatt GmbH was awarded the silver Pegasus 2009 during the Gala Celebration for Industry at the Brucknerhaus in Linz under the motto “corporate culture”.

The OÖ Nachrichten and it´s partners Raiffeisen Landesbank, The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, The Federation of Austrian Industries, KPMG and the state government of Upper Austria awarded this prize for corporate success, the most important in the province, even during this period of economic crisis. The motto for the Pegasus awards was corporate culture and internationalization.

What convinced the jury, made up of representatives from the sponsoring partners, the university and industry, to nominate the Energiewerkstatt?

The first thing was our corporate data which placed us under the Top 10. Our company growth and expansion to new international markets were important factors which convinced the jury of our company success.

And then it came down to details:

Our experience in the renewable energy branch since 1994, the high success rate (97%) of our planned wind farm projects and our wide range of services were more reasons for our nomination.

In the special achievement category 2008 we were able to make points because we showed an increase of 47% of our turnover – 43% out of the country and because we were able to hire four new employees.

Last but not least was the solution oriented way in which our team works which convinced the jury.

We are especially thrilled to hold the Pegasus in our hands when we remember what economic meaning and role we played in our first years. It is also an honour to be named along with other great Upper Austrian companies like Felbermayr, which has already been a long time player in the international market.
